The United States is known for having an unnecessarily large budget for military
spending, which is driving the country into deficit and further plunging the nation into debt.
Overspending must to end immediately. The United States military budget is bloated and
weakens the nation as a whole. Misappropriated funds cost billions against the military budget.
The United States has adapted the responsibility of acting as world
police, costing billions.
People will say that cutting the military budget will leave the citizens exposed to threats,
vulnerable to terrorist strikes and countries ready for war, however the programs that would be
cut to make the budget manageable serve no purpose today and only cost billions per year.
Military overspending is costing our taxpayers billions upon billions and must be managed
immediately.
 
The United States military budget is bloated and weakens the country as a whole the
 budget is sixteen billion dollars more than the next thirteen countries combined (Plumer 1).
